Our Story

CITYDOGs represents a vision to offer industry-leading dog care while maintaining the small-business community created by our founder, Erin Dean, when she opened her original business 18 years ago, Sydney’s Pet Spa. 

The CITYDOGs team is made up of Vince Bryant (Real Estate Guru), Peter Leondedis (Marketing and Internal Communications Leader), Greg Hellbusch (Construction and certified AKC Field Trial Judge for Pointing Dogs), Dante Passantino (Start-up Operations), and Todd Miller (Business Development and Construction). 

Recognizing a need for dog boarding, grooming, and daycare services in Kansas City’s Downtown District, CITYDOGs and our team aim to operate a business that not only offers these services, but also blends seamlessly with the dynamic city around us. Whether you are stopping in for a drink while your dog explores the 40,000 square foot dog park, or you are lodging your pet in a luxury suite while on vacation, CITYDOGs plans to offer services that fit our clients’ distinct needs.
